About

Anisa L. Garcia, MPA.

Anisa earned her Master's degree in Public Administration from California State University, Bakersfield in 2013. Most recently, she has been working in the educational field for about 15 years.

Her Bachelor's degree is in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Her professional experience includes working full time in the fuel industry as a Marketing Assistant, Executive Assistant in various school districts, and as a VHR for the Social Security Administration.

She is originally from Java, Indonesia and had been living in the US for over 20 years. She now lives in the Coachella Valley with her husband, son and small pets.

Her passion is to travel and taste different food from all over the world (especially from the street vendors), visiting libraries and volunteering and contributing to animal shelters and animal rescues around the world.

My husband and I first met in Bakersfield, CA and got married in Modesto, CA. My husband is a Social Science teacher, Spanish teacher and is now currently a Specialized Academic Instructor. He earned his bachelor's degree from S.D.S.U, his first master's degree  from the University of Southern California, and his M.S./SPED from W.G.U.. We enjoyed living in several cities throughout California prior to our pregnancy. After we had our first son, we decided to plant our roots in the Coachella Valley. Filling out the rest of the family is our rescue dog, Mr. Ewok, and our two adopted cockatiels, Honey and Joey.

We moved here in 2020 and could not be happier. Coachella Valley is a great place to raise a family and to start a business. The community here is very supportive and respectful, and the C.V. has a rich history and a lot to offer including first-class entertainment and sporting events, restaurants, museums and exciting new projects on the horizon.

We proudly serve all of the desert cities in our community and surrounding counties of Riverside and Imperial.

Mr. Ewok

When we first met Mr. Ewok, he was the last member of his litter of surrendered pets from his previous owner. He was dropped off along with three of his brothers at Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento. We signed up to be foster dog parents and came across his profile and picked him up as our first foster pup. We instantly fell in love with him because he is such a good boy! He never tries to run away (he's very loyal to his mom), he's playful, polite, and loves to nap. We adopted him back in 2017 and he's been a part of our family ever since.

Honey and Joey

Honey and Joey were given to us by our kind neighbors due to a personal, family tragedy. We adopted them into our family in 2021 and couldn't be happier with our two tiny vocalists. They are so cute and devoted to each other and they love to be social. Honey is a female gray cockatiel and Joey is a male white Lutino cockatiel. Joey is the more musical of the two and knows how to sing the baseball chant and the cat whistle, while Honey loves to accompany him with excited tweets.
